Lucky Charm!!

My friend Michelle must be my lucky charm.

Michelle sent me an email after she read on the blog about everything that has happened. She was very sweet and sympathetic to our situation . I had just written back to her, explaining in more detail than she probably wanted, about our situation, when I got another email from the University of Minnesota.

Earlier today I was getting desperate, so I wrote back to the Dr and asked her to look at the pictures of Spencer's incision, and she wrote back say that is probably the site where the colostomy was, but it appears to have been removed, so that would imply that maybe the secondary surgery (resection of the colon) was done as well. :-)

I'm still waiting on some more info, but the sun seems to be shining a little brighter now!

Michelle just reminded me that I had just got done complaining to her about the process and how long we have waited, then POOF! the phone rings, Jennifer tells me about the referral and my life hasn't been the same since!!

Plus I also just heard from Ann. She said that we were offered the referral because they were under thee impression that the colostomy and CMC situation had been resolved, and the with the way things look now, they were probably right! :-)
